on the piece: I immediately knew I wanted to use a container. I also knew I didn't want to use stamps, but wanted to maintain the travel theme. Trinket, souvenir, memento, memories......time travel! The trinket box came together as I sat and stared at it. It was a lot of fitting and gluing and ripping off pieces and walking away and eventually it came together and I was sufficiently satisfied with it. It's a trinket box from the fourth dimension, which I slip in and out of from time....to time.

i love it, i love the colors and the construction aspect of it and the intimate format of a little box and the reference to reverence (ha)...it also fits together with everything else you've been making. you should make a bunch of these little containers that open to reveal ...
yeah i realized that yesterday when i finished it...i use similar colors (namely golds of course) and they usually turn out to look fairly reminiscent of each other ...so i also thought that i should stick with the container...goldish...odd thing and see what happens.
